Born and raised in Plainview, NY, Dr. Chavkin received his undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from the State University of Buffalo, as well as his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from School of Dental Medicine at Buffalo in 2000. Furthering his training, he went on to complete his residency program at SUNY Downstate/ Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
