Dr. Rich brings a wealth of experience to his role, drawing on his extensive background as a pharmaceutical executive and clinical pharmacist. His expertise encompasses AMCP dossier development and production, managed care training and marketing, and specialized knowledge in diabetic retinopathy and macular edema. As an expert medical witness, Dr. Rich also contributes to the field through lectures and clinical presentations that reflect his deep understanding of contemporary pharmaceutical issues.

Dr. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan and a PhD in Theocentric Business Ethics from American College. His career includes notable positions such as Pharmacy Director at SelectCare, Co-Owner and Vice President at Maple Drug Stores, and Clinical Pharmacist at Providence Hospital and Medical Center. He has also served as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University Colleges of Pharmacy.

In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Rich has been recognized with numerous awards, including induction into the Michigan Pharmacists Hall of Fame, the Pharmacist Achievement Award, and the “Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year” in Michigan. He also serves as the Chairperson of the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.

Dr. Rich’s published works include influential articles such as “The Evolving Treatment Landscape of Age-Related Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Macular Edema: Updates and Insights for Pharmacists” and “Advances in Oncology: Focus on Immunotherapies in Melanoma.” His contributions extend to topics like antifungal stewardship and biological agents in psoriasis treatment.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Rich is an active community member, serving as the Vice Chair of the City of Sarasota Police Complaint Committee and participating in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. He is affiliated with various organizations, including the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
