San Diego, CA — Tanisha N. Bostick is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Attorney in the Law and Legal Services fields and in acknowledgment of her work as Managing Attorney at Bostick Legal.
With several years of experience, achievements, and leadership in personal injury litigation, Tanisha N. Bostick is the Managing Attorney at Bostick Legal, headquartered in San Diego.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in business management in 2009 from the University of Phoenix, Ms. Bostick continued her education with a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in 2016.
She provided superior service as a paralegal from 1998 to 2008 with Grace Hollis; as a project manager with MC Consultants Inc. from 2007 to 2009; as an independent litigation paralegal in the San Diego area from 2009 to 2011; and as a legal assistant with Klinedinst, Higgs, Fletcher, & Mack LLP and Drinker, Biddle, & Reath LLP from 2011 to 2015. Ms. Bostick also excelled as a paralegal and law clerk with Fredrickson, Mazeika, & Grant LLP from 2014 to 2015 and Contract Legal Services in 2016.
As a contract attorney with the Law Offices of Oden & Greene in San Diego in 2017, Ms. Bostick prepared for and attended trial as the second chair, including preparing exhibits, briefs, and motions. Later that year, she founded the Law Office of Tanisha N. Bostick, later called Bostick Legal LLC, in which she represents clients in personal injury and tort claims, including car accidents, slip and falls, and family law—including dissolution (divorce), child custody, spousal and child support modification, domestic violence cases, restraining orders, and move-away matters—as well as bankruptcies, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 debt relief.
Ms. Bostick was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for 2020 and earned a Pro Bono Service Award from the Family Justice Center, a Jefferson Medal from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence from Witkin Legal Institute, and the Richard D. Hailey Scholarship from the American Association of Justice.
Her memberships include the California State Bar Association, San Diego State Bar Association, San Diego Family Law Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of San Diego, Phi Delta Phi, the Lawyers Club, and the San Diego County Bar.
Ms. Bostick attributes her success to the strong work ethic instilled in her, a lot of hard work, and truly caring about her clients because she has a passion for helping people. When she was younger, she knew she wanted to become a lawyer. Being a single mother, she had to work and provide for her children, and she worked as a paralegal for several law firms for almost 20 years. Later on, she finally had the drive and opportunity to fulfill her dreams, so she signed up to take the LSAT and went to law school to become a lawyer.
The greatest professional achievement so far in Ms. Bostick’s career is being able to establish and sustain a thriving law firm without any prior experience as an attorney because she started her firm right after she graduated from law school. Her greatest life achievement is raising four children as a single mother. In fact, one of her daughters is now a lawyer as well. In the coming years, Ms. Bostick would like to grow her law firm further and hopefully have several offices in different locations.
In her spare time, Ms. Bostick contributes to the San Diego Humane Society, Save The Children, and San Diego Rescue Mission. She also enjoys watching television to relax.
In light of this recognition, Ms. Bostick would like to thank her husband, Ricardo, and honor the loving memory of her mother, Kristine.
