Thomas Davies, MD, FRCOG

Houston, TX — Thomas Davies, MD, FRCOG (C) is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Distinguished OB/GYN for his remarkable contributions in the field of Medicine, his unmatched commitment to the medical community, and his outstanding leadership in private practice.

Having been a practicing OB/GYN for 45 years, Dr. Thomas Davies is proud to have delivered several generations of babies. He is currently providing quality healthcare services for women in private practice, Thomas L. Davies, MD PA, and through his affiliation with Memorial Greater Heights (North West Hospital). An expert in his field, he specializes in all areas of obstetrics and gynecology and is currently focusing his practice on aging ladies, especially non-operative prolapse care. He continues to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and compassion to best serve the women of his community.

In light of his academic achievements, Dr. Davies attended Victoria Medical School in Manchester, Lancashire UK, where he obtained his medical degree in 1967, followed by completing his internship in 1968 at Park Hospital at Davyhulme, Lanchester UK. He then went attended Manitoba Medical School in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada, and went on to complete an OB/GYN St. Boniface Hospital residency program in 1973.

A distinguished member of his field, Dr. Davie is a Fellow of the American Society of OB/GYN and the Royal College of OB/GYN (Canada). He remains abreast of the latest advancements in his field by maintaining an active membership with the Texas Medical Association.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Davies gained valuable knowledge and professional experience in various leadership roles. He previously served as the Chief of OB/GYN at Spring Branch Hospital (now closed). After the re-opening of the OB ward at Spring Branch Hospital, he was honored by H.C.A. by naming the OB ward in his name. He also served as the President of the Home Owner’s Association. Additionally, he has held positions in the Overseas Development Division of the British Government.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Davies enjoys fishing, gardening, beekeeping, cooking for home, and entertaining. He is married to his wife, Christina, and they have three children, Jeffrey, Andrea, Jonathan, and Nicole.

Dr. Davies dedicates this honorable recognition to his mentors Dr. Leo Paddle and in memory of Dr. Kim.

In looking toward the future, Dr. Davies strives to continue helping the female members of his community accepting private and government-funded insurances. Dr. Davies believes that we have a matriarchal society, and if we keep the ladies healthy and happy, the family is more likely to prosper.
