Houston, TX — Veronica V. Lenge De Rosen, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Radiologist for her professional excellence in the field of medicine and her exemplary contributions at Baylor College of Medicine.
Having led an impressive medical career for 26 years, Dr. De Rosen is a board-certified radiologist specializing in body imaging, chest imaging, and cardiac imaging. She offers her valuable knowledge and experience to Baylor College of Medicine as Associate Professor of Radiology, Section Chief of Radiology & Cardiothoracic Imaging, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, Director of Quality and Safety & Radiology as well as Director of Education for Cardiothoracic Imaging & Radiology. Dr. De Rosen has devoted the past ten years to providing the best possible care at Baylor College of Medicine. In addition to her various positions, she serves patients at CHI St. Luke’s Health – Patients Medical Center, CHI St. Luke’s Health–The Woodlands Hospital, CHI Health Lakeside, CHI St. Luke’s Health – Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, Harris Health Quentin, Mease Harris Health, Ben Taub Hospital, Harris Health, LBJ Hospital, Houston Methodist Hospital and Memorial Medical Hospital of East Texas.
In light of her academic achievements, Dr. De Rosen received her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina in 1995. She relocated to the United States and completed her radiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2010 and her clinical fellowship in advanced non-invasive cardiovascular imaging at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in 2011. Always striving for excellence, Dr. De Rosen is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
Remaining abreast of the latest advancements of her specialty, Dr. De Rosen maintains active memberships with several professional organizations. She is an active speaker and member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, the Texas Radiological Society, and the Radiological Society of North America.
Throughout her extensive career, Dr. De Rosen has been the recipient of several awards and honors in recognition of her professional excellence. The Radiological Society of North America awarded her the 2014 Certificate of Merit and the American College of Radiology awarded her the 2015 Certificate of Leadership Proficiency. She was the recipient of the 2017 Healthcare Innovations Award for “Realizing Improvement through Team Empowerment (RITE) Project” by Harris Health Systems. In the same year, she received the Early Career Faculty Award for Excellence in Patient Care by the Baylor College of Medicine and subsequently received the 2018 Health Care Heroes Award by the Houston Business Journal.
A family woman, Dr. De Rosen has been married for 25 years to her husband, Mr. Danny De Rosen. They have twins together. When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. De Rosen volunteers for various activities at her children’s school.
