He also served as the Medical Director of Fountain Valley Regional Hospital PICU, for 15 years & was voted as a Chairman of the Pediatric Department for 4 years. He serves on the faculty of Hoag Hospital, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Mission, Miller Children Hospital, CHOC, and Saddle Back Memorial.
Dr. Reda’s acclaimed career began after he obtained his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine in Egypt. He completed his residency at USC and a fellowship at UCLA. He currently serves on the faculty of USC and has served on the faculty at UCI for over 15 years. Dr. Reda is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Critical Care, and Hospital Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics & American College of Chest Physicians.
Remaining abreast of the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Reda has maintained active memberships in professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is also a member of the society of critical care medicine, the European society of critical care, and frequently participates in international meetings to update and share his knowledge.
