Candy K. Hadsall, RN, BA, MA, has spent her career bridging the gap between healthcare and community advocacy, with a special focus on sexuality and sexually transmitted diseases. As a dedicated registered nurse, Candy collaborates closely with medical teams to improve how these issues are diagnosed and treated, ensuring that care is informed, respectful, and accessible to everyone.
Her work goes beyond the clinic. Candy is known for her commitment to reaching marginalized communities, providing education and support to those who often face barriers to quality healthcare. Candy’s academic background began with her nursing diploma from the Iowa Methodist School of Nursing. She later earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in liberal integrative studies, with an emphasis on community organizing and family counseling, from the University of Illinois at Springfield, which was formerly known as Sangamon State University.
