San Diego, CA ‒ Amanda F. Sams, DC, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Name in Chiropractic Medicine for her exceptional work in the Medical field and in recognition of her work with North Park Chiropractic.
Growing up in a family full of chiropractors, Amanda F. Sams realized at a young age that she would join the family business. She began working as a Chiropractic Assistant under her father, Dr. Grant Foster, at age 18. After completing pre-chiropractic requirements, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then transferred to the LACC Southern California University of Health Sciences SCU. During her final year, she took on an internship at the Whittier Health Center. Dr. Amanda then returned to North Park Chiropractic, completing a preceptorship under Dr. Foster’s guidance. Dr. Amanda believes that learning is a life-long pursuit and continues to regularly attend seminars, classes, and public speaking events to ensure every one of her patients receives the best possible care.
An established office in the San Diego area, North Park Chiropractic was built and founded in 1952 by Dr. Amanda’s grandfather. She is in the third generation of Foster family doctors – her father is also a chiropractor who will soon be retiring – and Dr. Amanda knew she wanted to continue the family legacy by the time she was in third grade. Her sister, Dr. Brooke, works at the practice as well.
