Brian’s journey into the world of energy technology began with a diverse educational background, earning both a Bachelor of Music Theory and Composition from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Denver. This unique blend of expertise laid the foundation for his groundbreaking work in hydrogen technology.
Through the Colorado Hydrogen Network, Brian spearheads efforts to represent organizations dedicated to advancing clean energy technologies. His commitment to promoting hydrogen as a key player in the transition to sustainable energy solutions is evident in his active involvement with the Colorado Cleantech Industries Association and his volunteer work with the Climate Reality Project and his board membership with the H2GP Foundation which provides science kits to the schools for hands-on learning.
With over four decades of experience in the industry, Brian has made significant contributions to the advancement of hydrogen technologies. He co-founded New Day Hydrogen, Inc. in 2020, a company focused on encouraging vehicle fleet owners to transition to zero-emission hydrogen vehicles while deploying hydrogen fuel stations to support these fleets.
Brian’s professional journey also includes roles as an electrical engineer and manager of business development with Honeywell, where he played a pivotal role in engineering, program development, and product development.
