In his current role as the Senior Director of Proposals and Publications, Mr. Edmans brings eighteen years of experience to the job. He has a background in homeland security, defense and aerospace, fiber-optic transmission, international business, MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS), and sales and marketing.
To prepare for his career in the R&D field, Mr. Edmans earned his MBA from the University of New York at Albany, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree and Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In previous roles, he has worked as a Senior Engineer for Picosecond Pulse Labs, the Director of Sales in Western US and Asia for Picometrix, and Director of Government Relations at Physical Optics Corp., among other positions.
