Dr. Elizabeth Razdolsky Michalczyk has taken over the leadership of her family’s orthodontic practice, continuing a legacy of exceptional patient care alongside her father, who remains an integral part of the team. She provides comprehensive orthodontic treatments for both children and adults, offering braces, Suresmile, Invisalign, and state-of-the-art technology to ensure optimal results.
Beyond traditional orthodontics, Dr. Michalczyk is a specialist in craniofacial disorders at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and provides highly specialized care to children undergoing cleft lip and palate, Down’s Syndrome, Pierre Robin syndrome, and/or Treacher Collins disorders. Her expertise in bone and tissue engineering and regeneration further enhances her ability to develop innovative treatment solutions for complex cases.
Michalczyk earned her Bachelor of Science in neurobiology from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Ph.D. in tissue and wound engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry. She completed her craniofacial research studies and orthodontic certificate at Georgia School of Orthodontics and Emory University School of Medicine/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
An active member of the American Academy for General Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association, she remains committed to professional development and collaboration in the field. Outside of her practice, she is a passionate advocate, donor, and volunteer for multiple local animal shelters and dedicates time to Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Chicago.
As she looks to the future, Dr. Michalczyk plans to expand the practice with modern orthodontic solutions, advance research in craniofacial and tissue engineering applications, and provide personalized care that balances both aesthetic and medical needs.
