Alma, AR – Eugenia M. Brandenburg, BSN, RN, CCTC, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Manager in Healthcare with Baptist Health of Fort Smith.
With over thirty years of experience in her field, Eugenia M. Brandenburg has been working eight years in her current position as a renal and Clinical Transplant Certified nurse, ICU nurse and kidney coordinator with Baptist Health of Fort Smith. As a case manager, her responsibilities entail assessing patient’s needs in order to determine the proper treatment. By developing, monitoring, and evaluating treatment plans and progress, Eugenia is able to facilitate multifaceted approaches to patient care and monitoring staff performance. While admitting new clients by reviewing records and applications, she also conducts orientations for medical staff and new hires so they remain up to date on the latest developments.
Ms. Brandenburg graduated with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Tidewater Community College becoming a Registered Nurse, and later earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Jacksonville University. With her extensive education, Eugenia is qualified to provide renal care and kidney and pancreatic transplants to patients in need, awarded a Nursing Excellence Award or providing quality service and patient care.
A former board member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Ms. Brandenburg continues to remain affiliated with American Nurses Association, the Virginia Nurses Association, the International Transplant Nurses Society, and International Nurses Association.
Eugenia has three daughters and three grandchildren. This recognition is dedicated in loving memory of her mother Mary Ellen Fitzpatrick, who loved to cook and dance, her father Eugene Joseph Fitzpatrick and last to all the professional people who have lifted her up throughout her career.
