In preparation for her career, Dr. Flemister received a medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood Illinois. She completed an internal medicine internship with Columbus Hospital in Chicago followed by an internal medicine residency at the Michael Reese Medical Center also in Chicago. Dr. Flemister is licensed to practice in Illinois, Kentucky, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. She is board certified in Internal Medicine Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
