James Wolf Yoxall, a spiritual and wellness mentor and coach, offers in-person and online guidance through his mentoring program, helping individuals find deeper balance, healing, and self-discovery. Beyond his mentoring and coaching work, he is actively building a healing community that emphasizes connection, compassion, and spiritual growth. His creative life continues to expand with the release of his children’s book, A Dragon Named Spark, as well as two forthcoming titles: Spirituality and Wellness: A Field Guide to Wholeness and a novel inspired by his personal journey.
In addition to his independent work, Mr. Yoxall serves as the spiritual wellness director at Pavillon, an internationally recognized treatment center for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Over the past 15 years, he has shaped innovative programs that integrate spirituality, mindfulness, holistic practices, and physical well-being. Leading a multidisciplinary team of yoga instructors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and exercise coordinators, he has created a comprehensive model of care that blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches. His leadership at Pavillon continues to redefine holistic recovery and set a standard of excellence in the field.
Mr. Yoxall earned a bachelor’s degree in Asian studies with a minor in studio art from Mary Baldwin College and a Master of Arts in culture and history with a focus on China’s One Child Policy and world religions from Union Institute & University. His academic foundation continues to inform his holistic philosophy and cross-cultural understanding of wellness and spiritual care.
A published poet and artist, Mr. Yoxall has published three poetry books titled: Random Thoughts, and Ramblings of a Mystic 1 & 2, along with co-editing the Journal for Asian Studies and co-authored China Today. His creative pursuits span painting, stone carving, Native inspired drum making and mixed media, all reflecting his commitment to expressive healing. He also has volunteered with Big Brother and Sisters, along with food banks and homeless shelters, reflecting a personal mission of compassion and community service.
