Pertaining to his academic background, Dr. Nandra earned a Bachelor’s degree at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He received his medical degree from the University of Manchester Faculty of Biology Medicine and Health in the UK. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in family medicine and was Chief Resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center–McKeesport Hospital. Later, he completed his fellowship in hospice and palliative care at the University of Miami School of Medicine–Jackson Memorial Hospital.
An active member of the American Medical Association, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine and hospice & palliative medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.
