Dr. Indes received a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and molecular genetics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He earned his medical degree (MD) at the ICAHN School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He completed his residency in general surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia. The doctor undertook fellowship training in vascular surgery, which he completed at Montefiore Medical Center. He is board certified in general and vascular surgery.
Dr. Indes previously taught at Yale University and now teaches medical students, residents, and fellows at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He performs surgery at Montefiore Medical Center for aneurysms and carotid artery disease, and is also involved in research regarding vascular outcomes. Dr. Indes specializes in disorders relating to the arterial-venous and lymphatic systems. He diagnoses and treats vascular diseases and performs vascular surgeries. The doctor notes that common conditions that a vascular surgeon treats are aneurysms, atherosclerosis, and varicose veins.
