Roseth prepared for his illustrious career at North Dakota University (NDSU) where he earned a degree in Construction Management. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Business from Cleveland State University, transferring credits to the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND where he received a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 2002. In 2012, he furthered his scholarship with a Master’s Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University in Arlington, VA.
Touting 40 years in the industry, Roseth has received numerous accolades including an American Institute of Constructors (AIC) award in the 1990s. He is a registered CPC (Certified Professional Constructor). He was also recognized for leading the best team on campus at WPS in 2018; graduated from Dale Carnegie with a focus on communication and leadership; served as a past president of the NDSU Advisory Committee and treasurer of the Rose Creek Homeowners Association; and achieved Eagle Scout rank in 1972, which he asserts was a guiding force throughout his career. He began his career in 1981 with McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., where he held progressively responsible roles over 12 years, including project engineer, superintendent, project manager, senior project manager, and assistant director. The business professional notes that his projects included a wide range of complex structures across the United States.
Roseth later joined the Cleveland Clinic Foundation as an Owner’s Representative, managing multiple projects and providing leadership in planning, design, budgeting, and construction oversight. In the late 1990s, he led the Innovis Health hospital project in Fargo, ND where he achieved a significant cost savings and completed the project ahead of schedule. He continued to advance as Vice President for Innovis Health and subsequently as Vice President of Corporate Services at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBS), where he managed various departments and significantly contributed to organizational success. In 2018, Roseth joined WPS Health Solutions as Vice President of Enterprise Corporate Services, where he played a crucial role in managing commercial property portfolios.
Retired in 2022, Roseth now provides strategic consulting services to nonprofits and corporations, including global operations leadership for Salto, a hardware company based in Spain. He has served on the NDSU Advisory Committee for more than 30 years and was also past president. Aside from his professional pursuits, Roseth and his wife, Kathi, reside in North Dakota, spending winters in Phoenix, AZ, and summers near Detroit Lakes, MN along with their family, which includes children and grandchildren.
