For the past six months, Dr. Lau has been serving as a General Internist caring for patients at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He demonstrates an innate ability to provide the highest standard of patient-centered care with a focus on chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Lau serves as an Associate Professor of Medicine within the Internal Medicine Division at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. The Division of Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University consists of more than 40 outstanding full, part-time, and volunteer internal medicine/primary care physicians and advanced practice providers.
An academic scholar, Dr. Lau completed his undergraduate studies at Drexel University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to earn his Medical degree from Drexel University School of Medicine. Following his medical degree, he completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Hannemann University Hospital/Drexel University School of Medicine. Thereafter, he became board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2016.
