Lee Pannell — Distinguished Executive

Farragut, TN — Lee Pannell is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Executive for his dedicated work in the Medical Supply field and in acknowledgment of his work at Sentient Lasers.       

Lee Pannell’s goal is to help medical professionals find the best equipment for their jobs. In his current role as the Chief Strategy Officer at Sentient Lasers, Mr. Pannell is working to bring numerous cutting-edge medical devices to market. This includes Tixel, Lumenis, Cynosure, and a range of other high-end medical laser devices. Mr. Pannell is proud to help doctors and medical specialists find the best products worldwide and implement them into their professions. In his first years, he generated $350 million in sales, and launched sixteen domestic medical products and 18 foreign medical products.

He has additionally created and patented two FDA-approved surgical instruments used to help burn victims in their healing process. Issued in 2007 and 2020, the first patented method uses laser energy and RF energy for cosmetic skin procedures; the second patent is for a method of creating micro ablated channels in skin, treating subsurface tissue.

Mr. Pannell currently works as the CEO of Alina Medical, where he works to bring innovative medical technology to the physicians who need it. In previous roles, he has also worked as the Managing Director, COO, and Chairman of the Board at Northern Aesthetics Consulting, where he tripled profits. Mr. Pannell excelled in executive roles as the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Lutronic and President at Zarin Medical. In prior years, he took on Vice President positions at Lumenis and Kimble Chase Life Science & Research. Mr. Pannell’s first job was as a Sales Representative for IBMCorp, starting in 1981. He has gained decades of industry knowledge through his work in sales, marketing, product development, and management.

Sentient Lasers holds a Blue Seal Dot of Approval, meeting the industry standard and demonstrating quality product standards to give doctors peace of mind and confidence in the devices. Sentient Lasers currently carries over 25 brands of laser devices, which have a variety of uses, including skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, treatment of vascular lesions, and hair removal.

To achieve his career in the medical devices field, Mr. Pannell first attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, where he graduated with a 3.9 GPA and a Bachelor of Science degree, and studied Human Ecology, Computer Science, Math, and Business. He then attended Harding University, earning his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in International Business Management and Ethics. He graduated with a 3.9 GPA, and was actively involved in college life as a member of Delta Mu Delta and Alpha Chi Honor Societies.

Mr. Pannell attributes his achievements to helping others discover their vision in order to create a strong network of industry connections. In the future, he looks forward to expanding his base of connections and expanding the company. Talented in multiple fields, Mr. Pannell has written a number of articles about laser treatments and an article about business travel.

On a personal note, helps wounded and disabled veterans through charities and organizations, including volunteering on Pearl Harbor day. He has been the Foundation Director of Casa de la Esperanza since 2005, where he manages a non-profit orphanage. Dedicated to his community, he also served on the Board of Directors of Center of Light Knoxville, which assists refugees, and Hope Central, which provides safe spaces for teens and young adults in need. Mr. Pannell enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.
