Greenlawn, NY- Mejdi Ahmad, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as a Gastroenterologist at Mount Sinai Doctors Long Island.
Offering services at 5 Cuba Hill Road, Dr. Ahmad has more than two decades of experience. He has been described by his patients as being thorough in his explanations and a careful listener. His areas of expertise include acid reflux, heartburn, anal fissure, gastroscopy, colon cancer, and irritable bowel syndrome.
To prepare for his career, Dr. Ahmad attended Brooklyn College for an undergraduate degree and SUNY Downstate for a medical degree. He worked as a resident in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital and a fellow in gastroenterology at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He received board-certification by the ABIM. A frontrunner in his field, Dr. Ahmad serves as a member of the ACF.
In his spare time, Dr. Ahmad enjoys spending time with his wife Maysoun, children Kayria, Yusef, Zachary, and Noah, and his parents Katie and Yusef.
