Chicago, IL — Mina Saeed, MD, FACS, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Pinnacle Healthcare Professional for his excellence in Bariatric and General Surgery and in acknowledgment of his work with Surgical Associates SC, and AMITA St. Francis Hospital-Evanston.

A board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon, Dr. Saeed, is interested in bariatric (weight-loss) surgery as both a medical professional and a patient of the procedure. He states, “It’s the most effective treatment for so many obesity related health problems.”

The clinic’s comprehensive weight-loss program offers a registered dietitian, a psychologist, and a medical weight-loss specialist for patients seeking additional assistance on their weight-loss journey.

In addition to performing bariatric procedures, Dr. Saeed also performs general and trauma surgery at AMITA St. Francis Hospital-Evanston, where he serves as the Medical Director of Trauma Surgery.

In pursuit of his medical career, Dr. Saeed obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earned his Medical Degree from the Rush Medical College in Chicago.
