Rafael Amuchastegui has built an exceptional career in architecture, contributing to some of the world’s most iconic hotel and resort designs over the past three decades. His expertise in luxury hospitality and residential architecture has played a pivotal role in shaping high-profile projects, including Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
Mr. Amuchastegui began his professional journey at Connolly Architects (1987–1994), where he developed his foundation in architectural design and project management. His dedication and skill led him to Wilson & Associates in Dallas/Fort Worth (1994–1999), where he served as a senior designer and project manager, helping bring world-class hospitality projects to life.
A graduate of the National University de Córdoba, Argentina, Mr. Amuchastegui holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Urbanism (1985). His expertise is further reinforced by his involvement in key industry organizations, including the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
