With a stellar 52 years of medical experience, Dr. Blair also provides special expertise in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other movement disorders. He is respectably known as the “Dean of Neurology” amongst his peers and colleagues in Ft. Worth. In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Blair mentors and teaches medical students from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

In preparation for his medical career, Dr. Blair earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at Lehigh University. He completed his Medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, followed by an Internal Medicine Internship at St. Francis Medical Center in 1970. From there, Dr. Blair completed his first year of Neurology Residency at the University of Miami in 1971. Then he served two years in the United States Air Force Medical Corps, achieving the rank of Major. Subsequently, he completed his final two years of his Neurology Residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 1975. With a commitment to excellence, Dr. Blair became board-certified in Neurology, Neurophysiology, and Clinical Neurophysiology through the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry.

To stay abreast of the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Blair maintains active affiliations with several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Neurological Society, Texas Medical Association, and the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis.

An active member of his community, Dr. Blair devotes free time to the Arborlawn United Methodist Church.
