In light of his academic excellence, Mr. Gugino completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Nevada in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. His acclaimed career began after graduating from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 1981. Later, he was appointed to the State of Nevada Local Government Employee Relations Board (EMRB) by Governor Richard Bryan. He then served as a Member and Chairman of the Board for more than 12 years, where he heard and issued decisions on public sector labor law matters between governmental entities and their employees.
Remaining at the forefront of his field, Mr. Gugino is an active member of the American Arbitration Association. He is in constant pursuit of continuing education and has attended numerous extensive ADR training courses, as well as been to numerous seminars related to arbitrations, meditations, and short-trials.
As a testament to his success, Mr. Gugino is Rated A-V by Martindale-Hubbell, listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who (2013), named Vegas, Inc’s Top Lawyers (2013), America’s Most Honored Professionals (2016), and America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators (Nevada) (2018).
