Renowned as a leader in minimally invasive “small incision, no needle, no stitch, no patch” using only “eyedrop anesthesia”, his vast repertoire of expertise includes Cataract & Refractive Surgery as well as the medical, laser and surgical treatment of Glaucoma. Dr. Spector’s acclaimed career began he earned his medical degree through the combined 6-year medical program at the City College of New York and New York Medical College, followed by a completed internship program at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. Furthering his training, Dr. Spector went on to complete his Residency in Ophthalmology at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary as well as a Fellowship in Glaucoma at the University of Pennsylvania- Scheie Eye Institute.
