He has devoted 31 years to providing the highest standard of Ophthalmologic care for patients who visits his practice. Renowned as a leader in minimally invasive “small incision, no needle, no stitch, no patch” using only “eyedrop anesthesia”, his vast repertoire of expertise includes Cataract & Refractive Surgery as well as the medical, laser and surgical treatment of Glaucoma. In his current capacity, he is committed to helping patients with Cataracts become independent of eyeglasses, reading glasses and bifocals. He is also well-known to be a dedicated LASIK surgeon who takes responsibility for providing support to his patients before, during and after their LASIK surgery.
Dr. Spector’s acclaimed career began he earned his medical degree through the combined 6-year medical program at the City College of New York and New York Medical College, followed by a completed internship program at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. Furthering his training, Dr. Spector went on to complete his Residency in Ophthalmology at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary as well as a Fellowship in Glaucoma at the University of Pennsylvania- Scheie Eye Institute.
