Irving, TX – Tammi Williams, MD, FAAP, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Healthcare Professional in the field of Medicine as a Pediatrician with Baylor Scott & White Medical & Surgical Clinic.
Since, 1953 Baylor Scott & White Medical & Surgical Clinic provides General Pediatrics services to Special Needs Children for the families of Irving, Texas and its surrounding communities. Their teams of experienced doctors are known for their reputation in providing individual attention, and showing commitment to a patient’s needs.
Dr. Tammi Williams has more than 19 years’ experience in the field of pediatrics specializing in caring for young people, from infants to young adults, and special needs children. She devotes her time to improve the health of young children by treating all her patients and their families with professionalism and individualized care to determine the care, diagnosis, and treatment necessary for a wide range of medical conditions and issues that are found to be specific to the younger population.
To prepare for her difficult yet rewarding career caring for children, Dr. Williams started her education with Texas Woman’s University for her Bachelor of Arts. She moved on to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center earning her Medical Degree where she remained to complete her residency.
A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Williams can be found affiliated with TMA, DCMA, FAAP, and Special Olympics. Not only is she a member of the Medical and Surgical Clinic of Irving since 2007, she has been named to the NCAA Division II 40th Anniversary Tribute Team, recognizing her accomplishments on the Texas Woman’s University Basketball Team.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Williams enjoys athletics, outside nature, reading and volunteering as a medical staff member for CAMP.
