Dr. Salvatore Pizzino has practiced dentistry in Fairfield County, Connecticut for over 25 years and was voted Best of the Gold Coast for Fairfield. He has recently relocated to Waco, Texas with his family for the next chapter in his life and his career in dentistry. Dr. Pizzino’s new dental facility, Woodway Family Dental, is expected to open in September 2020, just off highway 84, on Speegleville Road. He looks forward to getting involved in the community, meeting new people and enjoying all that life in Central Texas has to offer, as he and his wife raise their three youngest children.
Dr. Pizzino is dedicated to making you feel comfortable while providing quality dental services in a relaxed, modern, and caring environment. From routine exams, cleanings, fillings, invisible braces, to full mouth restorations and cosmetic services, he aims to exceed the expectations of his patients at every visit by taking the time to listen to their needs and never compromising on quality.
Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Pizzino is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry. He completed a chief residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and was a clinical attending physician there for over 10 years. In 2007, he co-directed dental implant seminars at NYU and has been an Invisalign Premier Provider since 2009, as well as an Invisalign guest lecturer.
In addition to being a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, he is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Functional Orthodontics and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, served on the CT State Dental Association Board of Peer Review, and is a former president of the Bridgeport Dental Association.
Dr. Pizzino serves in the United States Navy Reserve as a Commander in the Dental Corps. His current assignment is supporting the 4th Dental Battalion, 24th Dental Co. out of Houston, Texas.

These awards highlight the top dentists in Fairfield County, all recommended by peers in the field who know their work best. Dr. Pizzino was recommended in the General Dentistry category for his ability to help people in every discipline in dentistry, from checkups to tooth pain, emergencies, and more.
